If you have no video you can try a different video cable, borrow a friends if you do not have another one. If you still have no video but audio is working you will need to check the soldering connections on the main board for the video connector. If your Xbox is not reading the disks or getting disk errors make sure your disks are clean. ...If you're system is no longer under warranty, guess what? Yes, you'll be paying hundreds to get your system fixed. If that wasn't enough, even if you're still under warranty, it can take MONTHS before you even get your system back! But that's not even the worst of it.
